A rare and absolutely wonderful late 18th century primitive birch wood child’s chair, dug out from a single piece of a hollowed tree trunk, with its original applied seat. Excellent patination all over, with great wear. The little carved handhold to the back is a lovely detail. Would make a great little stand for a sculpture or vase.
