Late 15th century small carved stone grotesque, Portuguese

A great little late Gothic period (c.1470-1520) Portugese carved stone grotesque. A true 'gargoyle'- with its hollow water spout mouth, unusually formed from a natural hole in the stone, adapted for its purpose as a fountain head.
