A striking and architectural pair of large late 17th century oak panels, in wonderful original dry condition, one of St Peter and the other of a female in prayer. Very skilled carving, nice and deep, further emphasised by the clever sense of perspective created by the arches. Some losses and cracking, as pictured. The very slightly larger of the two approx 64 cm in height.
