An evocative c.1500 primitive carved oak Corpus Christi with unusual lead crown, English or French, with an old collection number painted on the foot and original wrought iron hanging ring on the back. Missing both arms, as is often the case with these- often being removed many years ago as good luck charms. Crown is likely a 17th or 18th century addition, replacing a lost original. H 48 cm.
