A rare 11th century Norman, or possibly late Anglo Saxon, carved stone grotesque head mounted on a stand, reputedly found near the New Forest, would have been part of something bigger originally, probably with the flat part of the jaw resting on a ledge of some sort, peering down at the viewer. H 28 cm (on stand)/ 23 cm (head alone), D 23 cm x W 14 cm
