A early and rare little mid 16th century carved wooden corpus Christi, originating from northern Spain, retaining one of its original delicate arms- rare for the little pieces of this age, which are usually missing both; and in its original actual cloth (not carved) loin cloth, stuck on beneath the finish- a known practice in the area during the period.
