Rare early 18th century oak and ash turner's table

A very rare c.1700 English turners table, boarded circular top, joined to a stout square chamfered block, into which the boldly turned oak column is morticed, all original and in good stable condition, with no signs of woodworm. Pegged ash feet.

Similar example is illustrated in “Oak Furniture, The British Tradition”, by Victor Chinnery, page 86, figure 2.69.
